A hair implant means a redistribution of hair on bald or thinning areas on the head. The procedure involves the extraction of hair including the follicle in order to implant them on an area with little or no hair, showing sign of alopecia.

The hair will start to grow in a couple of weeks, depending on the type of alopecia in the treated areas.
