Face Eyelid lift

The look of the face comes from the eyes.

From the age of forty, the eyelids start getting thinner, they lose their elasticity, and bags, wrinkles and fine lines start to show under and around the eyes, which give a sad and tired look to the face.

An eyelid, or blepharoplastic, surgery, is a simple, definitive operation with no risk involved, that will remove the signs of time and give back a young and vital look to the eyes.


Excess skin on the upper eyelid does not only give a « droopy » look to the face, but it can also affect the vision. A blepharoplastic surgery on the upper eyelids, which consists of removing excess skin, and sebum deposits if any, is done by performing a small incision following the natural line of the upper eyelid. It will leave a minor scar, but this will disappear completely within approximately two months.


The indication for a performance of blepharoplastic surgery on the lower eyelids is bags under the eyes. As well as for the surgery on the upper eyelids, the faint scars after the incision will disappear completely within a couple of months.


It is possible to perform a combined surgery on all four eyelids, when considered necessary.

Procedure: The blepharoplastic surgery on two or four eyelids is performed using local anesthesia. Admittance to a clinic is not needed. The surgery can easily be performed in combination with another aesthetic surgery: facial lift surgery, forehead lift surgery…
